WHAT TO EXPECT…

The Aesthetics Workshop is a 5 hour masterclass for photographers and models interested in learning fashion photography— hosted by Kenz Lawrén and Jonti Wild. There are many different styles to learning—but just getting out there and simply doing it is the best way to learn in our personal opinion. We host our workshops with the same way we approach our photoshoots from start to finish.

We create a new, unique mood board for every class— that way, you’ll have a new challenge every time you come back for another workshop! Some workshops will be in studio, some will be outside on location (we like to switch it up to keep you on your toes— just like the real world ;) You’ll receive the mood board prior to the shoot day so you can prepare outfits, hair and makeup. • Meet & Greet

Let’s get to know each other! We want to know who you are, your experience level and what your personal goals are.

• The Photoshoot Challenge

Your coaches will go over the mood board of the day, cover any rules and which rules we encourage you to break.

• Shadow Your Coaches

Watch first hand as your coaches Jonti and Kenz demonstrate how they shoot. Be prepared to take notes and film as you please!

• Shoot With the Pro’s

The photographers will have the opportunity to shoot Kenz and the models will have the opportunity to shoot with Jonti.

• Partner Up!

Your coaches will pair you up into photographer-model duos so you can really put your skills to the test! Don’t worry, Kenz will be there to support the models through posing and Jonti will be there to guide the photographers through shooting.

• Critique Your Work

The workshop will end by reviewing everyones photos, as a class. Selecting the best shots can be tricky in itself— so your coaches will highlight key do’s and don’ts when it comes to picking out the best shots.

• What You’ll Get

You’ll leave the workshop with new photos to add to your portfolio! Models will have the opportunity to shoot with Jonti during the workshop and will receive 3 retouched photos.

NOTE FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS:

We want all our students to benefit from their hard work at The Aesthetics Workshop. By participating in our workshop, we do require you to send over your final selects (a minimum of 10 edited photos via dropbox link within 2 weeks post workshop) that way we can forward them to your model partner. If you choose to post the photos on social media, we ask that you tag your partner in all posts too. Thank you for your cooperation!
